The client was seeking to create a modern environment by adding a new reception desk that could integrate with the Collegiate Gothic style of its interior. As a historic site that has been called “the finest example of Beaux Arts Gothic Revival in Canada,” no ordinary reception desk would suffice. For this reason, the client turned to fluidconcepts.
In order to preserve the client’s hallowed traditions with the respect they deserve, we knew we had to come up with a solution that was as unique as it was innovative. After careful deliberation, we came up with the ideal answer: a modern, curved reception station made with materials consistent with the interior space decor.
Steeped in tradition while remaining design-forward, our solution has the honor of being incorporated as a part of the venerable history of Hart House.
